About

my Story

Hi, I’m Natalie Da Silva a London-based Entertainment Journalist & Presenter with a degree in Multimedia Journalism. I’ve always loved storytelling, creativity, and connecting with people through media, entertainment, travel, and culture.

My journey into the media industry actually started through performance. After training at Identity Drama School,  I was signed to Identity Agency Group, where I had the opportunity to complete voiceover work for major productions including The Legend of Tarzan and Netflix’s The Siege of Jadotville. I was also selected amongst hundreds of performers to take part in a dance piece during Michelle Obama’s UK visit to Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School - an experience I’ll never forget.

Although I loved performing, I eventually realised my passion was in storytelling, journalism, and creating meaningful conversations through media. That led me to fully focus on entertainment journalism and content creation, where I began sharing my experiences online through my YouTube channel and blog, Life of a Cameo.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to cover exciting events and interview high profile public figures. I currently freelance as an entertainment journalist and presenter for Videoblogg and Black Things UK, and have also featured on Sky News and BBC Three’s documentary Is This Coercive Control?, which aired across the UK and Ireland.

What I love most about my work is being able to connect entertainment, culture, travel, and real experiences through storytelling whether that’s on a red carpet, at a press event, hosting, interviewing talent, or creating behind-the-scenes content. I’m passionate about creating content that feels engaging, authentic, and relatable while still bringing professionalism and personality to every project I’m part of.

I’m currently taking booking for hosting, presenting, entertainment coverage, interviews, content creation, brand collaborations, and media partnerships!
